1. Russet potatoes, peeled and cubed 2 pounds
2. Swede (rutabaga), peeled and cubed 2 pounds
3. Butter, softened ¼ cup
4. Mustard powder 1 teaspoon
5. Scallions, finely chopped 1 bunch
6. Salt and ground black pepper to taste 1 bunch

How to cook deliciously - Neeps and Tatties

1 . Stage

Place potatoes and swede in a large pot; cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.

2 . Stage

Mash butter and mustard powder into potatoes and swede until well incorporated. Stir in scallions, salt, and pepper.
