Ingredients for - One-Pot Ham and Veggie Pasta

1. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
2. Cubed fully cooked ham - 2 ½ cups
3. Chopped onion - ½ cup
4. Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
5. Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
6. Red pepper flakes - ¼ teaspoon
7. Salt and pepper to taste - ¼ teaspoon
8. Low-sodium chicken broth - 4 cups
9. Fat free half-and-half - 1 ¼ cups
10. All-purpose flour - ¼ cup
11. Farfalle (bow tie) pasta - 1 (16 ounce) package
12. Frozen peas and carrots - 2 cups
13. Grated Parmesan cheese - ½ cup
14. Chopped parsley for garnish - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - One-Pot Ham and Veggie Pasta

1. Stage

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ham and onion; saute for about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper; cook for 2 minutes.

2. Stage

Whisk together chicken broth, half-and-half, and flour in a bowl until smooth; pour into the pot. Stir in farfalle pasta, cover, and cook for 15 minutes.

3. Stage

Add peas and carrots. Cook until pasta is cooked through, about 8 more minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
