How to cook deliciously - Potatoes roasted with lemon and garlic
1. Stage
Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1 cm cubes.

Throw in boiling salted water and cook for 4-5 minutes. The potatoes should become a little softer. It is important not to overcook! Drain the water thoroughly.

Finely chop the garlic and herbs. Grate on a fine grater the zest of half a lemon. Squeeze the juice of the lemon so that you get 1-2 tbsp. (to taste, I like a citrus note, so I add 2-3 tbsp.).

Pour the olive oil into a frying pan. Preferably take a frying pan with non-stick coating of large diameter, so that the potatoes cover it in a single layer. When the oil is hot, place the potatoes. Fry over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the potatoes have browned. If the potatoes cannot be placed in a single layer, first slightly brown the first batch, and then add the second batch (add more oil if necessary). It is important to remember that the potatoes can be fried in a layer of no more than 2 cm.
5. Stage
When potatoes are almost ready, add salt, pepper, garlic, lemon zest and nutmeg. Roast for another 1 to 2 minutes. If desired, place the cooked potatoes briefly (to keep them warm) on a paper towel. Season with melted butter, lemon juice and herbs, mix thoroughly. Serve immediately.
