1. All-purpose flour 3 ¼ cups
2. White sugar ⅓ cup
3. Packed brown sugar (light or dark) ⅓ cup
4. Baking powder 2 ½ teaspoons
5. Ground cinnamon 1 ½ teaspoons
6. Baking soda 1 teaspoon
7. Salt ½ teaspoon
8. Ground nutmeg ¼ teaspoon
9. Cold unsalted butter, cut in small pieces ¾ cup
10. Buttermilk 1 cup
11. Vanilla extract 1 ½ teaspoons
12. Cinnamon chips ¾ cup

How to cook deliciously - Cinnamon Chip Scones

1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Whisk flour, both sugars, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg together in a large bowl. Cut in butter using the bread hook attachment of an electric mixer until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk and vanilla, mixing just until dough is moistened; fold in cinnamon chips.

3 . Stage

Drop 1/4 cups of dough 2 inches apart onto a cookie sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, 15 to 17 minutes.
