1. Butter, softened - 1 cup
2. Packed brown sugar - ¾ cup
3. White sugar - ¼ cup
4. Instant vanilla pudding mix - 1 (3.5 ounce) package
5. Eggs - 2 large
6. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
7. All-purpose flour - 2 ¼ cups
8. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
9. Semisweet chocolate chips - 2 cups

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add pudding mix, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips.
