Ingredients for - One-Pot Spaghetti

1. Lean ground beef - 1 pound
2. Onion, chopped - 1 large
3. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
4. Tomato sauce - 1 (14 ounce) can
5. Petite diced tomatoes - 1 (14 ounce) can
6. Water - 2 cups
7. Chili powder - 1 tablespoon
8. Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
9. Ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
10. Whole wheat spaghetti - 7 ounces
11. Grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste (Optional) - ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - One-Pot Spaghetti

1. Stage

Heat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned and crumbly and onion is translucent, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard excess grease.

2. Stage

Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water, chili powder, oregano, and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and let simmer, stirring often, for about 30 minutes.

3. Stage

Break spaghetti into thirds and add to the pot; cover and simmer, stirring often, until pasta is tender, about 20 minutes. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
