2. Onion, diced - 1 small
3. Egg noodles - 1 (16 ounce) package
4. Cottage cheese - 1 (16 ounce) container
5. Sour cream - ½ cup
6. Sea salt - ½ teaspoon
7. Ground black pepper - ¼ teaspoon

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir onion in melted butter until softened, 7 to 10 minutes.
