1. Milk - ¾ cup
2. Water - ¾ cup
3. Grated fresh ginger - 1 tablespoon
4. Honey, or more to taste - 1 teaspoon
5. Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 teaspoon
6. Ground turmeric - ½ teaspoon
7. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
8. Ground black pepper - ⅛ teaspoon

1. Stage

Combine milk, water, ginger, honey, ghee, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper in a small saucepan. Whisk over medium heat until boiling, 5 to 10 minutes.
