1. Dry kidney beans 1 cup
2. Dry white beans ½ cup
3. Barley ½ cup
4. Potatoes, peeled and cubed 2 large
5. Sweet potato, peeled and cubed 1 large
6. Onion, cut into chunks 1 large
7. Garlic, minced 2 cloves
8. Ketchup ⅔ cup
9. Barbeque sauce ¼ cup
10. Soy sauce ¼ cup
11. Brown sugar ¼ cup
12. Garlic powder 2 teaspoons
13. Onion Powder 2 teaspoons
14. Paprika 2 teaspoons
15. Ground black pepper 2 teaspoons
16. Salt 1 tablespoon
17. Water, or more as needed to cover 4 cups

How to cook deliciously - Pareve Cholent

1 . Stage

Place kidney beans, white beans, barley, potatoes, sweet potato, onion, garlic, ketchup, barbeque sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, salt, and water in a slow cooker. Mix well. Cook on High for 3 hours, then reduce heat to Low and continue cooking overnight until the beans are tender.
