1. Extra-virgin olive oil, or more as needed 1 tablespoon
2. Onion, chopped 1
3. Garlic, minced 3 cloves
4. Ale, divided 1 (12 fluid ounce) can
5. Parsley, stemmed and chopped 5 sprigs
6. Tomato paste 2 teaspoons
7. Portuguese hot pepper sauce (pimenta) 2 teaspoons
8. Chicken bouillon 1 cube
9. Ground paprika 1 teaspoon
10. Unpeeled large shrimp, deveined 2 pounds
11. Kosher salt 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Portuguese Shrimp

1 . Stage

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in parsley, tomato paste, hot pepper sauce, chicken bouillon, and paprika. Pour in half of the ale; simmer until flavors combine, about 5 minutes.

2 . Stage

Pour remaining ale into the skillet; add shrimp. Season with salt. Cook until shrimp absorbs the liquid and turns pink, 15 to 20 minutes.
