1. 2 tbsp. butter -
2. 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour -
3. 2 c. milk -
4. Kosher salt -
5. Freshly ground black pepper -
6. 2 c. shredded Cheddar -
7. 1 lb. macaroni elbows, cooked -
8. 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, plus more for garnish -
9. 4 cooked hot dogs -
10. 4 hot dog buns -
11. Chopped fresh chives, for garnish -

How to cook deliciously - Mac & Cheese Dogs

1. Stage

Make mac and cheese: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour and whisk until combined. Let cook until golden, 1 minute, then pour in milk and season with salt and pepper. Let thicken, 3 minutes, and add cheddar. Stir until melty and creamy then add cooked macaroni and stir until coated. Stir in cooked bacon.

2. Stage

Top mac and cheese on hot dogs and garnish with more bacon and chives.
