3. Black beans, undrained - 1 (15 ounce) can
4. Stewed tomatoes - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
5. Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
6. Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon
7. Uncooked instant brown rice - 1 ½ cups

1. Stage

Heat oil over medium-high in a large saucepan. Add onion; cook and stir until tender. Add beans, tomatoes, oregano, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil.
