2. Great northern beans, rinsed and drained - 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
3. Onions, chopped - 2 small
4. Water (Optional) - 1 cup
5. Packed brown sugar - ¾ cup
6. Ketchup - 3 tablespoons
7. Molasses - 3 tablespoons
8. Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
9. Mustard - 1 tablespoon
10. Salt - 1 teaspoon
11. Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Homemade Baked Beans

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 2 1/2-quart baking dish.

Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat until crisp, about 10 minutes; drain and cool on paper towels. Crumble bacon once cooled.

Mix bacon, beans, onions, water, brown sugar, ketchup, molasses, vinegar, mustard, salt, and garlic powder together in the prepared baking dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
