1. Fresh tomatillos, husks removed 1 pound
2. Sweet onion, cut into 1/4-inch slices ½ large
3. Diced tomatoes with green chile peppers 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
4. Diced green chiles 1 (4 ounce) can
5. Chopped fresh cilantro 3 tablespoons
6. Garlic, minced 2 cloves
7. Lime juice 2 tablespoons
8. Chili powder 1 tablespoon
9. Ground cumin 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Roasted Tomatillo Salsa

1 . Stage

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.

Cook tomatillos and onion on the preheated grill until lightly charred, about 15 minutes. Transfer to a plate and let cool, about 10 minutes; roughly chop and place into a medium bowl.

Add diced tomatoes to the bowl and mix. Stir in chiles, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, chili powder, and cumin; blend well.
