Ingredients for - Granny's Easy Chili

1. Onion, chopped - 1
2. Crushed garlic - 5 cloves
3. Celery, chopped - 1 stalk
4. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
5. Textured vegetable protein - 8 ounces
6. Chili beans - 4 (16 ounce) cans
7. Stewed tomatoes - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
8. Water - 4 cups
9. Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
10. Salt and pepper to taste - 2 tablespoons
11. Chili powder - 2 teaspoons

How to cook deliciously - Granny's Easy Chili

1. Stage

In a large saucepan saute onion, garlic, celery and olive oil until onions are soft.

2. Stage

Add to saucepan textured vegetable protein, chili beans, tomatoes, water, sugar, salt and pepper, and chili powder. Stir occasionally, let simmer for 30 minutes. The textured vegetable protein will expand when added to liquid.
