1. Red potatoes, cut into chunks - 5 pounds
2. Chicken bouillon - 3 cubes
3. Minced garlic, or to taste - 1 tablespoon
4. Sour cream - 1 (8 ounce) container
5. Cream cheese, softened - 1 (8 ounce) package
6. Butter - ½ cup
7. Salt and pepper to taste - ½ cup

1. Stage

Place potatoes, bouillon, and garlic in a large pot and cover with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 15 minutes.
