3. Beef sirloin, cut into 2-inch strips, or more to taste - 1 pound

7. Onion Powder - ½ teaspoon
8. Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon
9. Paprika - ¼ teaspoon
10. Dried thyme - ¼ teaspoon
11. Dried marjoram - ¼ teaspoon
12. Dried basil - ¼ teaspoon
13. Bourbon whiskey (such as Jim Beam®) - 2 tablespoons
14. Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
15. Prepared mustard - 1 teaspoon
16. Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
17. Hot sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot ®) - ½ teaspoon
18. Beer (such as Budweiser®) - 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle

1. Stage

Spread onion and garlic into the bottom of a slow cooker; layer beef on top. Sprinkle cumin, black pepper, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, marjoram, and basil over beef.

Add bourbon, soy sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Stir in beer and add beef bouillon cubes.

Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours, stirring every hour or so.
