1. 2 large eggs -
2. 2 cups quick-cooking or rolled oats -
3. 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk -
4. 1 cup chopped onion -
5. 2 teaspoons salt -
6. 1/2 teaspoon pepper -
7. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder -
8. 3 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean) -
9. Sauce: -
10. 2 cups ketchup -
11. 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar -
12. 1/2 cup chopped onion -
13. 1 to 2 teaspoons liquid smoke -
14. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder -

How to cook deliciously - Tangy Meatballs

1. Stage

In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add oats, milk, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add the ground beef; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 1-1/2-in. balls. Place meatballs on greased racks in shallow baking pans. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 minutes; drain.

2. Stage

Place all of the meatballs in 1 of the pans. In a saucepan, bring all sauce ingredients to a boil. Pour over meatballs. Return to the oven and bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until meatballs are done.
