1. Butter, softened 14 tablespoons
2. Firmly packed brown sugar ¾ cup
3. Granulated sugar ½ cup
4. Eggs 2
5. Vanilla 1 teaspoon
6. All-purpose flour 1 ½ cups
7. Baking soda 1 teaspoon
8. Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
9. Salt (Optional) ½ teaspoon
10. Quaker® Oats (Quick or Old Fashioned, uncooked) 3 cups
11. Raisins 1 cup

1 . Stage

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

2 . Stage

In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

3 . Stage

Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.

4 . Stage

Add oats and raisins; mix well.

5 . Stage

Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

6 . Stage

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.

7 . Stage

Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
