Ingredients for - Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

1. Butter, softened - 14 tablespoons
2. Firmly packed brown sugar - ¾ cup
3. Granulated sugar - ½ cup
4. Eggs - 2
5. Vanilla - 1 teaspoon
6. All-purpose flour - 1 ½ cups
7. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
8. Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
9. Salt (Optional) - ½ teaspoon
10. Quaker® Oats (Quick or Old Fashioned, uncooked) - 3 cups
11. Raisins - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

1. Stage

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Stage

In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

3. Stage

Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.

4. Stage

Add oats and raisins; mix well.

5. Stage

Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

6. Stage

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.

7. Stage

Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
