Ingredients for - V's Grilling Marinade

1. Boiling water - ¼ cup
2. Lapsang souchong tea leaves - ½ teaspoon
3. Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
4. Pineapple juice - ¾ cup
5. Tamari (dark soy sauce) - ½ cup
6. Canola oil - ½ cup
7. Fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped - 1 (1 1/2 inch) piece
8. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
9. Sherry - 2 tablespoons
10. Honey - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - V's Grilling Marinade

1. Stage

Pour boiling water over tea leaves in a mug and steep for 3 minutes; strain and discard tea leaves. Dissolve brown sugar into the tea and set aside to cool.

2. Stage

Combine pineapple juice, tamari, canola oil, ginger, garlic, sherry, and honey in a jar; add tea mixture. Seal jar and shake until the oil emulsifies into the marinade.
