1. Boiling water ¼ cup
2. Lapsang souchong tea leaves ½ teaspoon
3. Brown sugar 2 tablespoons
4. Pineapple juice ¾ cup
5. Tamari (dark soy sauce) ½ cup
6. Canola oil ½ cup
7. Fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped 1 (1 1/2 inch) piece
8. Garlic, minced 2 cloves
9. Sherry 2 tablespoons
10. Honey 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - V's Grilling Marinade

1 . Stage

Pour boiling water over tea leaves in a mug and steep for 3 minutes; strain and discard tea leaves. Dissolve brown sugar into the tea and set aside to cool.

2 . Stage

Combine pineapple juice, tamari, canola oil, ginger, garlic, sherry, and honey in a jar; add tea mixture. Seal jar and shake until the oil emulsifies into the marinade.
