1. Whole wheat bread - 2 slices
2. Ground beef - 2 pounds
3. Medium salsa - 1 cup
4. Green onion, chopped - 1
5. Chopped onion - 2 tablespoons
6. Whole grain Dijon mustard - 2 tablespoons
7. Minced garlic - 2 tablespoons
8. Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
9. Salt and pepper to taste - 1 teaspoon
10. Barbeque sauce - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - A Firefighter's Meatloaf

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

2. Stage

Soak bread in enough warm water to cover in a small bowl; set aside.

3. Stage

Place beef in a large bowl. Add salsa, green onion, onion, Dijon mustard, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Drain bread and add to beef. Mix by hand until well blended. Form into a loaf and place into the prepared loaf pan.

4. Stage

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Drain off excess fat and top with barbeque sauce. Return to the oven and bake for 15 more minutes.
