4. Onion, chopped 1 large
5. Hoisin sauce ¼ cup
6. Fresh garlic, minced 2 cloves
7. Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
8. Rice wine vinegar 1 tablespoon
9. Minced pickled ginger 2 teaspoons
10. Asian chile pepper sauce, or to taste (Optional) 1 dash
11. Water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped 1 (8 ounce) can
12. Green onions, chopped 1 bunch

How to cook deliciously - Asian Lettuce Wraps

1 . Stage

Rinse whole lettuce leaves and pat dry, being careful not to tear them; set aside.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef; cook and stir until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease; transfer beef to a bowl. Add onion to the same skillet; cook and stir until just tender, 5 to 7 minutes.
