Ingredients for - Marica's Spaghetti Meat Sauce

1. Butter - 2 tablespoons
2. Onions, finely chopped - 2
3. Celery, finely chopped - 4 stalks
4. Carrots, finely chopped - 2
5. Lean ground beef - 8 ounces
6. Ground pork - 8 ounces
7. Ripe tomatoes, chopped - 6 large
8. Dried oregano - 1 pinch
9. Dried tarragon - 1 pinch
10. Dried sage - 1 pinch
11. Dried rosemary - 1 pinch
12. Ground black pepper to taste - 1 pinch
13. Salt to taste - 1 pinch
14. Bay leaves - 2
15. Fresh mushrooms, sliced - 8 ounces

How to cook deliciously - Marica's Spaghetti Meat Sauce

1. Stage

In a large skillet over medium heat saute the finely chopped onions, carrot, and celery with the 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine. Add the beef and pork and cook until brown. Add chopped tomatoes, dried oregano, tarragon, sage, rosemary, and bay leaves. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for an hour.

2. Stage

Near completion of cooking time add in mushrooms and simmer until softened, about 10 minutes.
