1. Kohlrabi bulbs, peeled and grated - 3 large
2. White cabbage, shredded - 1 small head
3. Carrots, grated - 4
4. Red bell peppers, grated - 4
5. Green bell peppers, grated - 2
6. French-cut green beans - ½ pound
7. Fresh parsley, chopped - ½ bunch
8. Chicken broth, or as needed to cover - 4 cups
9. White sugar, or to taste - 1 teaspoon
10. Hungarian paprika, or to taste - 1 pinch
11. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 pinch
12. Sour cream, for topping - ¼ cup
13. Prepared horseradish, or to taste (Optional) - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Bavarian Kohlrabi Soup

1. Stage

Combine kohlrabi, cabbage, carrots, red bell peppers, green bell peppers, green beans, and parsley in a stockpot. Pour enough chicken broth over the vegetables to cover; bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes. Season with sugar, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Top with sour cream and horseradish.
