8. Parsnips, diced (Optional) - 2
9. Barley - 1 ¼ cups
10. Sweet potatoes, peeled and diced - 4 large
11. Chopped fresh dill (Optional) - ½ cup
12. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - ½ cup
