1. 2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted -
2. 1/2 cup 2% milk -
3. 1/4 cup butter, cubed -
4. 3 cups cubed cooked chicken -
5. 1 package (16 ounces) frozen peas and carrots, thawed -
6. 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided -
7. 1 package (32 ounces) frozen Tater Tots -

How to cook deliciously - Chicken Tater Tot Casserole

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a large saucepan, combine the soup, milk and butter. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until heated through. Remove from the heat and stir in the chicken, peas and carrots, plus 1 cup of the cheese.

Have two greased 8-inch square baking dishes ready. Transfer the chicken and vegetable mixture to the baking dishes, and top with an even layer of Tater Tots. If desired, cover and freeze one casserole for up to three months. If feeding a crowd, bake both now.

3. Stage

Bake the casserole (or casseroles) until bubbling, 25 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of cheese and bake until the cheese melts, for five minutes longer.
