Ingredients for - Chicken Teriyaki
1. 1/3 c. reduced-sodium soy sauce -
2. 1 1/2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar -
3. 1 tsp. toasted sesame oil -
4. 1 1/2 tbsp. honey -
6. 2 tsp. finely minced or grated fresh ginger -
9. 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1" pieces -
13. Sliced scallions, for garnish -
15. Steamed broccoli, for serving -
How to cook deliciously - Chicken Teriyaki
1. Stage
Make sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, oil, honey, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch.
2. Stage
Make chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add chicken to skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and almost cooked through, about 10 minutes.
3. Stage
Pour sauce over chicken and simmer until sauce has thickened slightly and chicken is cooked through, 5 minutes.
4. Stage
Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve over rice with steamed broccoli.
