1. 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple -

4. 2 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, softened -

6. 1 cup miniature marshmallows -
7. 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped -

How to cook deliciously - Green Jello Salad

1. Stage

Drain the crushed pineapple and reserve the juice in a small bowl. Set the pineapple aside. In a medium saucepan, combine the lime gelatin, 3 tablespoons of water and the reserved pineapple juice. Cook the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is fully dissolved. This should take about five minutes. Once dissolved, remove the saucepan from the heat and refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes or until it reaches a syrupy consistency.

2. Stage

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is light and fluffy. Gradually stir in the cooled gelatin mixture to ensure it is fully incorporated. Add the chopped walnuts, miniature marshmallows and the reserved crushed pineapple. Mix gently until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

3. Stage

Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese and gelatin mixture. Take care not to deflate the whipped cream. Once fully combined, transfer the mixture to a 1-quart serving bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours or until the salad is fully set.
