1. 1 cup diced sweet red pepper -
2. 1/2 cup chopped onion -
3. 1/2 cup sliced celery -
4. 2 garlic cloves, minced -
5. 2 tablespoons butter -
6. 3 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) reduced-sodium chicken broth -
7. 3/4 cup white wine or additional reduced-sodium chicken broth -
8. 1 teaspoon dried thyme -
9. 1/4 teaspoon pepper -
10. 2 cups cubed cooked turkey breast -
11. 1 cup instant brown rice -
12. 1/4 cup sliced green onions -

How to cook deliciously - Brown Rice Turkey Soup

1. Stage

In a Dutch oven, saute the red pepper, onion, celery and garlic in butter for 5-7 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add the broth, wine or additional broth, thyme and pepper. Bring to a boil.

2. Stage

Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in turkey and rice. Bring to a boil; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until rice is tender. Garnish with green onions.
