1. Pitted dates, cut in half - 1 (8 ounce) package
2. Very hot water - ¾ cup
3. Lemon - ½ medium
4. Agave nectar - 3 teaspoons
5. Ghee (clarified butter) - 2 teaspoons
6. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
7. Ground nutmeg - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Date Jam

1. Stage

Combine dates, hot water, lemon, agave, ghee, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small pot over medium-low heat; bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer, breaking up the dates as they cook down, until thickened to desired consistency, about 10 minutes.
