1. Water - 2 cups
2. White rice - 1 cup
3. Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
4. Dried basil - 1 teaspoon
5. Dried sage - ½ teaspoon
6. Cayenne pepper - ½ teaspoon
7. Creole seasoning - ½ teaspoon
8. Salt - ½ teaspoon
9. Ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
10. Lemon zest - ½ teaspoon
11. Extra-virgin olive oil - 3 tablespoons
12. Vegan margarine (such as Earth Balance®) - 1 tablespoon
13. Green bell pepper, minced (Optional) - 1
14. Carrot, minced - 1
15. Celery, minced - 1 stalk
16. Tomato, diced - ½ small
17. Soy sauce, or to taste (Optional) - 1 teaspoon
18. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 pinch

How to cook deliciously - Delicious Vegan Fried Rice

1. Stage

Combine water, rice, oregano, basil, sage, cayenne pepper, Creole seasoning, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, and lemon zest in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until rice is tender and liquid has been absorbed, 20 to 25 minutes.

2. Stage

Mix olive oil and vegan margarine in a large pan over medium-low heat. Stir rice into oil mixture and add green bell pepper, carrot, celery, tomato, soy sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook and stir mixture into heated through, about 5 minutes.
