2. Instant white rice (such as Minute) - 2 cups
3. Butter (Optional) - ½ teaspoon
4. Salt (Optional) - ⅛ teaspoon
5. Milk - 1 cup
6. Brown sugar, or to taste - 2 tablespoons
7. Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
8. Vanilla extract - ½ teaspoon
9. Ground cinnamon, or more to taste - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Rice Pudding

1. Stage

Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add rice, butter, and salt; cook and stir until butter melts, then cover the saucepan and remove from the heat. Set aside until water is absorbed, about 5 minutes.

2. Stage

Stir milk, brown sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla into rice; bring to a simmer over medium heat while stirring. Cook until rice has the consistency of loose oatmeal, about 5 minutes. Ladle pudding into bowls and dust with cinnamon.
