1. 1 pound ground beef -
2. 1 medium onion, chopped -
3. 1 bunch celery, sliced -
4. 2 cans (14 ounces each) Chinese vegetables, drained -
5. 2 envelopes brown gravy mix -
6. 2 tablespoons soy sauce -
7. Hot cooked egg noodles or rice -

How to cook deliciously - Easy Chow Mein

1. Stage

Place a large skillet over medium heat and cook the beef until it’s no longer pink. Remove from the heat and drain the excess liquid. Editor’s tip: Remember to break the meat into crumbles as you go.

Transfer the beef into a 3 quart slow-cooker. Stir in the celery, Chinese vegetables, gravy mix and soy sauce.

Cover and cook on low. Stir occasionally until the celery becomes tender, about four to six hours. Serve with noodles or rice.
