How to cook deliciously - Cheeseburger Quesadilla

1. Stage

In a large skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until it's no longer pink, six to eight minutes, crumbling the beef as it cooks. Drain off the excess grease. Editor's Tip: When browning ground beef, be sure to start with a preheated pan.

2. Stage

Stir in the ketchup, mustard, chopped bacon and Worcestershire sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil. Then, reduce the heat and simmer the ground beef filling, uncovered, for five to seven minutes or until it has slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.

3. Stage

While the ground beef filling simmers, stir together the mayonnaise, milk, pickle relish and pepper in a small bowl.

4. Stage

Preheat a griddle over medium heat. Sprinkle four tortillas with cheese. Top each of the four cheese-covered tortillas with the beef mixture. Top each quesadilla with another tortilla, then place the filled tortillas on the hot griddle. Cook until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted, one to two minutes on each side. Serve the quesadillas with sauce and, if desired, lettuce and tomatoes. Editor's Tip: You can use a large skillet if you don't have a griddle. If you can't cook all the tortillas at once, transfer the cooked quesadillas to a baking sheet and keep them warm inside a 200°F oven.
