3. Onion, minced - 1 medium
4. Carrot, chopped - 1 large
5. Celery, chopped - 1 stalk
6. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
7. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 2 cloves
8. Vegetable stock - 6 cups
9. Chickpeas, rinsed and drained - 1 (15.5 ounce) can
10. Undrained diced tomatoes - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
11. Fresh green beans, trimmed - ¼ pound
12. Uncooked ditalini pasta - ½ cup
13. Pesto - ¼ cup

1. Stage

Heat oil in the bottom of a 4- or 6-quart slow cooker on High. Add zucchini, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.

Pour in vegetable stock, chickpeas, undrained tomatoes, and green beans. Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours.
