Ingredients for - Fish Chowder

1. Butter - 2 tablespoons
2. Chopped onion - 2 cups
3. Fresh mushrooms, sliced - 4
4. Celery, chopped - 1 stalk
5. Chicken stock - 4 cups
6. Diced potatoes - 4 cups
7. Cod, diced into 1/2 inch cubes - 2 pounds
8. Clam juice - 1 cup
9. All-purpose flour - ½ cup
10. Old Bay Seasoning TM, or to taste - ⅛ teaspoon
11. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - ⅛ teaspoon
12. Evaporated milk - 2 (12 fluid ounce) cans
13. Cooked crumbled bacon - ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Fish Chowder

1. Stage

Melt butter in a large stockpot over medium heat. Sauté onions, mushrooms, and celery in butter until tender. Add chicken stock and potatoes; simmer for 10 minutes. Add fish; simmer for another 10 minutes.

2. Stage

Mix together clam juice and flour in a small bowl until smooth; stir into soup and simmer for 1 minute. Season with Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and stir in evaporated milk.
