Ingredients for - Fruit Cocktail Drop Cookies

1. Shortening - 1 cup
2. Packed brown sugar - 1 cup
3. White sugar - ½ cup
4. Eggs - 3
5. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
6. All-purpose flour - 4 cups
7. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
8. Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
9. Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
10. Ground cloves - 1 teaspoon
11. Fruit cocktail, drained - 1 (15.25 ounce) can
12. Raisins - 1 cup
13. Chopped walnuts - 1 ½ cups

How to cook deliciously - Fruit Cocktail Drop Cookies

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

2. Stage

In a medium bowl, cream together the shortening, brown sugar and white sugar. Stir in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves, stir into the creamed mixture. Carefully fold in the raisins, fruit cocktail and nuts, try not to crush the fruit.

3. Stage

Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to12 minutes in the preheated oven.
