1. Tri-color rotini pasta - 2 cups
2. Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored, and diced - 2
3. Fresh figs, chopped - 2
4. Diced red onion - ½ cup
5. Chopped fresh basil - ¼ cup
6. Sliced black olives - 3 tablespoons
7. Chopped fresh mint - 3 tablespoons
8. Garlic, minced - 1 clove
9. Mayonnaise - ½ cup
10. Grated Pecorino Romano cheese - ¼ cup
11. Sour cream - 2 tablespoons
12. White sugar - 1 tablespoon
13. Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
14. Lime, zested and juiced - 1
15. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1

How to cook deliciously - Fruity Pasta Salad with Herbs

1. Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; cook rotini at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.

2. Stage

Mix apples, figs, onion, basil, black olives, mint, and garlic together in a large bowl.

3. Stage

Whisk mayonnaise, Pecorino Romano cheese, sour cream, sugar, vinegar, lime zest and juice, salt, and pepper together in a separate bowl.

4. Stage

Add cooked rotini to apple mixture, stir, and pour dressing on top. Mix well and refrigerate, covered, for at least 30 minutes. Serve chilled.
