1. 2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen chopped spinach -
2. 1 large onion, chopped -
3. 2 garlic cloves, minced -
4. 2 tablespoons butter -
5. 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled -
6. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg -
7. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
8. Pepper to taste -

How to cook deliciously - German-Style Spinach

1. Stage

Cook spinach according to package directions. Drain well and set aside. Saute onion and garlic in butter in a large skillet until tender. Stir in the spinach, bacon, nutmeg, salt and pepper; heat through.
