1. 1 large egg, lightly beaten -
2. 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs -
3. 1/4 cup 2% milk -
4. 1/3 cup finely chopped onion -
5. 1 teaspoon salt -
6. 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce -
7. 1 pound ground beef -
8. Sauce: -
9. 1/2 cup ketchup -
10. 1/2 cup chopped onion -
11. 1/3 cup sugar -
12. 1/3 cup vinegar -
13. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce -
14. 1/8 teaspoon pepper -

How to cook deliciously - Holiday Appetizer Meatballs

1. Stage

In a small bowl, combine the beaten egg, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Crumble over the beef mixture, distributing it evenly and mix well. Shape the mixture into balls the size of a Ping Pong ball. Editor’s Tip: You can mix the balls in your hands (oil them to prevent sticking), or use a food mixer for a smoother consistency.

2. Stage

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the meatballs and drain off any excess fat. Place the meatballs in a baking dish. Combine the sauce ingredients and pour over the meatballs. Bake uncovered at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes until the meatballs are no longer pink. Stick a toothpick into each meatball and serve on a platter.
