1. All-purpose flour 1 cup
2. Old-fashioned rolled oats ¾ cup
3. Chopped walnuts ¾ cup
4. Ground ginger 1 ½ teaspoons
5. Packed light brown sugar, divided 1 cup
6. Salted butter, melted ½ cup
7. Cornstarch 2 tablespoons
8. White balsamic vinegar 2 tablespoons
9. Fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered 2 ½ pounds
10. Vanilla ice cream, for serving 2 ½ pounds

1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.

Stir together flour, oats, walnuts, ginger, and 3/4 cup brown sugar in a bowl. Add butter; using your hands, stir mixture until moistened and coarse crumbs form.
