1. Thin egg noodles - 4 ounces
2. Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
3. Sliced fresh mushrooms - ½ cup
4. Garlic, chopped - 2 cloves
5. Tomato, cut into wedges - 1 large
6. Fresh pineapple chunks - 1 cup
7. Celery, sliced - 1 stalk
8. White sugar - 2 tablespoons
9. Chicken broth - 3 cups
10. Water - 3 cups
11. Fresh lime juice - 3 tablespoons
12. Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
13. Large shrimp, peeled and deveined - 1 pound
14. Crushed red pepper - ⅛ teaspoon
15. Bean sprouts - ½ cup
16. Green onion, thinly sliced - 1

How to cook deliciously - Hot and Sour Shrimp Soup

1. Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Cook mushrooms and garlic in oil until soft (do not brown). Stir in tomato, pineapple, celery and sugar and cook until tomatoes begin to soften. Stir in chicken broth and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir in lime juice and soy sauce; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in shrimp and red pepper and simmer 3 minutes more, until shrimp are pink. Stir in bean sprouts, onion and reserved noodles. Heat through and serve.
