2. Onions, sliced thin 1 extra large
3. Chopped fresh dill ¼ cup
4. White vinegar 3 tablespoons
5. Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
6. Salt, or to taste 1 teaspoon
7. Ground black pepper, or to taste ½ teaspoon
