1. Green onions, chopped 6
2. Onion, chopped 1
3. Jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced 1
4. Soy sauce ¾ cup
5. Distilled white vinegar ½ cup
6. Vegetable oil ¼ cup
7. Brown sugar 2 tablespoons
8. Chopped fresh thyme 1 tablespoon
9. Ground cloves ½ teaspoon
10. Ground nutmeg ½ teaspoon
11. Ground allspice ½ teaspoon
12. Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves 1 ½ pounds

How to cook deliciously - Jay's Jerk Chicken

1 . Stage

In a food processor or blender, combine the green onions, onion, jalapeno pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, vegetable oil, brown sugar, thyme, cloves, nutmeg and allspice. Mix for about 15 seconds.

2 . Stage

Place the chicken in a medium bowl, and coat with the marinade. Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours, or overnight.

Preheat grill for high heat.

Lightly oil grill grate. Cook chicken on the prepared grill 6 to 8 minutes, until juices run clear.
