Ingredients for - Jay's Jerk Chicken

1. Green onions, chopped - 6
2. Onion, chopped - 1
3. Jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced - 1
4. Soy sauce - ¾ cup
5. Distilled white vinegar - ½ cup
6. Vegetable oil - ¼ cup
7. Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
8. Chopped fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon
9. Ground cloves - ½ teaspoon
10. Ground nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
11. Ground allspice - ½ teaspoon
12. Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - 1 ½ pounds

How to cook deliciously - Jay's Jerk Chicken

1. Stage

In a food processor or blender, combine the green onions, onion, jalapeno pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, vegetable oil, brown sugar, thyme, cloves, nutmeg and allspice. Mix for about 15 seconds.

Place the chicken in a medium bowl, and coat with the marinade. Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours, or overnight.

Preheat grill for high heat.

Lightly oil grill grate. Cook chicken on the prepared grill 6 to 8 minutes, until juices run clear.
