1. Beef short ribs, cut flanken style 5 pounds
2. Asian pear, cored and cubed 1
3. Onion, coarsely chopped 1
4. Garlic 5 cloves
5. Soy sauce (such as Kikkoman®) 1 cup
6. Brown sugar 1 cup
7. Honey ¼ cup
8. Sesame oil ¼ cup
9. Black pepper to taste ¼ cup

1 . Stage

Combine Asian pear, onion, and garlic in a blender; blend until smooth. Pour into a large bowl and stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, sesame oil, and black pepper. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.
