I noticed that if you grate them, a lot of juice comes out and you have to pour it out. All the layers are neatly laid out on a dish layer by layer: 1) beet, 2) carrot, 3) potato, 4) cucumber (cucumber layer is not mixed separately with mayonnaise, and the mayonnaise is laid out on top and lightly smeared, that would not stand out a lot of juice.
