1. Packed brown sugar - ¾ cup
2. White sugar - ¼ cup
3. Butter - 6 tablespoons
4. Vanilla extract - ½ teaspoon
5. Egg white - 1
6. Water - 3 tablespoons
7. All-purpose flour - 1 ½ cups
8. Baking soda - ¾ teaspoon
9. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
10. Semisweet chocolate chips - ½ cup

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Cream brown and white sugars with butter in a medium bowl. Stir in vanilla, egg white, and water. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; stir into creamed mixture. Mix in chocolate chips.
