2. Evaporated milk (such as Carnation ®) - 1 (12 ounce) can
3. Raisins (Optional) - 1 cup
4. Eggs - 2 small
5. White sugar - ¼ cup
6. Brown sugar - ¼ cup
7. Custard powder - 1 tablespoon
8. Vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon
9. Ground nutmeg (Optional) - 1 pinch

How to cook deliciously - Newfie Rice Pudding

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.

2. Stage

Whisk rice, evaporated milk, raisins, eggs, white sugar, brown sugar, custard powder, and vanilla extract together in a bowl; pour into the prepared dish. Sprinkle nutmeg over rice mixture.
