3. Salt - 1 pinch
4. Hot water - 2 quarts
5. Cinnamon sticks - 3
6. Whole cloves - 6
7. Rum - 2 cups
8. Sweetened whipped cream - 1 cup
9. Ground nutmeg to taste - 1 cup

1. Stage

Combine brown sugar, butter, salt, and hot water in a 5-quart slow cooker. Add cinnamon sticks and cloves.
