Ingredients for - Onions in Raisin Sauce

1. Olive oil - 1 ½ teaspoons
2. Pearl onions, peeled - ¾ pound
3. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
4. Dry white wine - ⅓ cup
5. Beef broth - 1 cup
6. Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
7. Raisins - 2 tablespoons
8. Grated orange zest - ½ teaspoon
9. Dried thyme, crushed - ¼ teaspoon
10. Ground black pepper - ⅛ teaspoon
11. Minced fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Onions in Raisin Sauce

1. Stage

Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Saute onions until golden, about 7 minutes.

2. Stage

Stir in garlic, wine, broth, tomato paste, raisins, orange zest, thyme, black pepper and parsley. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring often. When onions are tender increase the heat to high and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens, about 3 minutes.
